Welcome to Mrs. Olsen's 3rd Grade class!
Each day will be an adventure in my class. Students will discuss, discover, and dissect new information to dazzle their minds. Lessons will be planned and prepared carefully to ensure that the 3rd grade state
core is followed and completed.
I am honored to be called a teacher. I take my job seriously. I cannot imagine doing anything else. I know that I play an important role in each child's life. I will do my best to create a loving, and caring atmosphere mixed in with a little laughter.
Daily attendance is imperative to learning. Remember, not all concepts are taught from books or worksheets. Some concepts are taught during class lectures, examples, presentations, and activities. Absent students usually miss three to five questions per test each day they are absent. New learning only takes place when past learning is mastered.
Education is the most precious gift that can be given to children. Working together is the magic formula! If you have any concerns, please contact me immediately. However, please do not try to conference with me during class time. My focus is on the children's needs and their learning at that time.
